Your new puppy, the star of their first storybook
Capture the tiny-paws stage in a picture book made from your photos.
They grow up fast
Those floppy ears and oversized paws won't last. A PawTale storybook turns a puppy photo into an illustrated tale you can keep long after they've grown.
Made for families
Add the kids, the other pets, and the people who'll be on walk duty. A book can include up to 10 pets and people, with one photo each. It's a sweet way to introduce children to the newest family member.
Easy to start
Upload a photo and add your puppy's name. The free preview paints the first 3 pages, starting with the cover, so you can see how your pet looks before you buy. Books start at $9.95.
A gift for new puppy parents
Know someone who just brought a puppy home? A storybook is a personal gift that isn't another chew toy. Give a Gift a Tale certificate, or order a printed copy through Shutterfly.
Questions
- Can I make a storybook for a new puppy?
- Yes. Upload one photo of your puppy and PawTale makes them the hero of an illustrated story. Pick one of our ready-made tales (for example Wild West, Under the Sea or Among the Stars), add names and a few details, and your pet is the hero.
- Can the kids be in the book too?
- Yes. A book can include up to 10 pets and people, with one photo each. Families often add children so they appear alongside the puppy.
- Can I see the book before I buy?
- Yes. The free preview paints the first 3 pages, starting with the cover, so you can see how your pet looks before you buy.

- Plans start at $9.95, one payment, no subscription: Stills 12 $9.95, Clip 12 $12.95, Stills 24 $19.95, Clips 24 $24.95. Every book is digital: an online tale, a PDF, and print-ready pages. If you want a printed book, you can order one through Shutterfly using the print-ready pages.
- Does it work for kittens or other pets too?
